It's good for schools here which is handy as we have two small children.
It takes about 15 minutes to get into the city.
There's a couple of gyms nearby, one in Sinnot st, which is the Princes Highway and another in Centro shopping centre which is in Altona Meadows.

I love the Vibrancy and choice of city life, and to me Coburg is the epitomy of that, as we have open space as well. I have Coburg Lake, within 500 metres of my front door, that open space goes for 20 and more kilometres north, and about 10 K's south where it joins up with all the other major bike paths, and green corridors of Melbourne. I can walk less than 800 metres south, up Sydney Rd, and have pubs and restaraunts 24/7.
Tip the best buying in the whole of Melbourne, and possibly Aussie in the next 3 years, will be the Old Kodak Site in Coburg, as each south facing block will have a full panarama of the city skyline, plus it is adjancent to the Coburg Lake parklands. I expect house and land packages there would have to be at least 700,000 bucks when they get released. (unless the b...dardts go high density

We are renting in Sanctuary Lakes at the moment and will probably stay here or in Point Cook when we buy. It has pretty much everything we need for the time being, especially the golf course and gym .
