Poll: how long to get NZ Gen Skills PR decision?
How long did it take you to get a NZ General Skills PR decision? - timed from the day you sent your application to the day you got approval in principle. Please include a response if you failed to reach the passmark but were offered the 6 month work visa to find a job and get the 'job points'.

It took us 8 days (I took it in on a Friday, and we received our acceptance letter
the following Saturday). This was for PR, and was back in March.
(FYO - we're still in the UK, waiting for our house sale to go through. Then we're
off, and we can't wait!)

6 weeks via the Hamilton Office - held up whilst we waited for the container to
arrive - one child's birth certificate was the abbreviated kind and they needed the
full one before they issued the PR visa's - we then held things up for 6 weeks
whilst the kids got new passports (as they had travelled on their mothers, but
needed one each)
