I didn't look for the first month as OH had car - as soon as I went looking, I had casual work within about 48 hours (I delayed it another few days to start the following week) and after a month was offered a permanent position at the same place.
I quit that to do a uni course, then was offered a job at the same place where I did my placement.
So for me it's been very easy so far! (touch wood it continues like this!)

Came at a time when my company was pulling in 457's from across the globe... its now laying most, and possibly all, 457's off.
