It may be possible, you may have a conversion course to do and assessments of course, you'll be dumping the CS spray for a pistolaaa, er and you can bet there will more paperwork when shooters are involved and tests to gain the use of,

er, I would not let some of the young Met officers loose with a rubber truncheon,

You will of course have to be a OZ passport holder or hold a permanent residents Visa,
