prolly asked a squillion times but how long are police checks and meds valid for, is it 12 months on both of them, therefore is it usually ok to maybe frontload when you get lodgement??

PS cos i forgot to ask, just doing some searches on timeline, how do you know what assesment agency you come under?? cant understand all those abreviations.

Yes you could frontload but be warned that when the visa is granted, your validation date will be 12 months from the date of the medicals or police checks, whichever comes first. Therefore, if it takes 9 months for the visa to be granted and you sent your police checks and medicals with your application, you would have 3 months in which to travel to Australia to vaildate the visa. You don't have to move permanently at this stage, you just have to arrive in Australia and go through immigration. You could turn around and go straight back to the UK after that if you wished Good luck!

Depends too if you have any medical probs, you may only get 6 months from meds
