Police Checks
I applied for Police checks for my husband and myself a few weeks ago. Mine came back within a week or so but we are still waiting for my husbands.
Is this normal that they could vary so much in processing time when they were applied for together? I'm begining to think there something my husband hasn't told me!

Don't worry, you are not the only one.
Mine arrived back nearly three weeks before my partners. They were taken into the same police station at the same time but must have got split up at some time!!! It did cause much amusement!!!
If he has not got it back after the 40 days, then I would chase it.

Re: Police Checks
Hi Pam,
When we applied for ours, mine came back really quick, but my husbands took at least 3 weeks longer, he does have a minor offence on his from about 8 or 9 years ago, but we still got through the process no problems and we didn't even use an agent, so even if he does have something minor from when he was younger that even he might have forgotton about it or might think it's not on his record it dosn't necessarally mean that you won't get the Visa.

But it is very scary before you open the envelope, just in case there is something on it even though you know there shouldn't be!!!
