points assessment
Hi all.
We have just begun looking into moving to oz and have done the online assessment to see if we would be in the running for a permenant visa.
It says we would get 110 points but that is not including any points for me as employed. I am currently doing part time tele- sales for a charity and before that part time tele-sales for a double glazing co.
Can anyone give us any pointers as to if my employment can be considered and if so under which heading and if there is anything else we could be looking into to help our application.
(My husband is a cable tv & telephone ops manager and we have 2 kids aged 6 & 7.)
Many Thanks in advance.
Terri.

try doing a search on the 'Immigration' forum where you will find more relevant info. this one is lifestyle related - what's crap about UK/Australia (delete as appropriate).
if your occupations are not listed on DIMIA's skilled occupation list, skilled migration is a no go. telesales isn't.
good luck

We've decided to look at the state sponsored visa now and would love to hear from any one already underway with one or has used this to get over there already.
