plz recommend a reasonable family hotel in Melbourne
Hi,
We're looking for a reasonable (price and standard) hotel in Melbourne to recover from jet lag and have an explore of the city for a couple of days (8-10 Nov) before we explore the Victorian Coastline (can't wait!!!). This is our validation trip, and we have 3 boys 17,12 & 4, so we are going to need a triple & a double.
Any recommendations?
THanks

If its only for a couple of days your best bet is to have a look at www.wotif.com.au
You get a decent discount booking through them.

The missus & I stayed at the rydges place in Carlton last time I had to stay in central melbourne, it is a swanky type place but the service
was excellent. The wife's sister stayed at quest apartments next to flemington race course about 6 months ago with her 2 kids and they catered for families perfectly.

Many Thanks for your responses, I was up til the small hours researching them. Ended up with a good late deal from wotif on Paramount Apartments in the CBD.
