Plumber

Some advice please, would it be advisable to work with a plumber when I return to Australia and take on a job as a plumbers mate so that I can learn how to plumb the Aussie way, I know being a plumber's mate would be a low wage but it is a way of learning how to do it their way rather than the UK way or is it better to just go and get a job as a plumber straight away.

Re: Plumber

Hi Bessie, when you get to oz you will need a plumbers licence.
Even if you have U.K qualifcations you will only get a provional licence.
This means you have to work under the supervision of a full licenced plumber.
YOU have to compleat cross over courses to get your full Licence.

Hope it helps.

Cheers Mark - any chance of working with you because I am coming to Brisbane !!! How long does it take to complete cross-over courses to get my full licence?

My husband did a 3 week course in Freemantle, then got his plumbers license, they are crying out for them here in WA south west. Denise
