I think I am need of a Tax lawyer (in Sydney) who has experience dealing with the ATO. Does anyone have someone that they have used and would recommend.

I need guidance in putting forward a Voluntary Disclosure to the ATO.

I use George Kemp associates right in the city on Pitt Street (google it)

I was recommended to use them by another ex-pat and it seems he deals with many expats (knows all about UK tax law in addition to AU tax). They did my last tax return promptly and accurately and he was a wealth of information and advice.

Probably not the cheapest but definately experienced with dealing with the ATO (it seems many many expats do things wrong when it comes to their tax returns and he is forever trying to dig them out).

Thanks Tony - it's really difficult to find recommendations, the only other name put forward was Alan Collett (accountant) but he's currently in the UK!
