Hi all, hopefully moving to Perth, there is 6 of us and wondered if someone could recommend a good MPV vehicle or make (not new) to go for, if we get there?

#1 Kia Carnival. They're cheap for a reason. (Cylinder heads gaskets)
#2 Holden Zafira have timing chain issues (Oil feed to the chain lubrication fails)
Google the above for further info
I have had a Hyundai Trajet for the past 6 months (7 seater).... Good vehicle. The 6 months prior to that I had the Hyundai i-max (8 seater)

Unless you need 4 or more anchor points then this shouldn't be an issue but best you know now before you go buying a car that possibly doesn't meet your requirements.

Go for the Kia Carnival, number 1 selling people mover for good reason. We have had one from new, now 6 years old and no problems. The head gasket issue was many years ago and they use a completely different engine now.

We got a Toyota Tarago (Previa in the UK) which has been faultless.
We got the 2007 model when it was 18 months old, 65,000 kms (ex hire car), full serive history etc for less than $30,000. they are $50k new.
it has 8 seats and can tether kids seats to at least 5...

That's why we chose the Carnival, just under $30k new drive away and the new one is still around about the same with I think 5 years warranty.
