please this is no laughing matter...
I have checked it in the dictionary but I cant find it there either, so what does Rekkie means, I keep seeing it on BE threads from time to time.

I have always thought Rekkie was short for Reconnoiter, a military or engineering term to survey or check out an area, presumably the area of engagement.
