I bet my 0.02$ that you wrote this message either from Dubai or Bangkok airport (while in transit). I do hope that when you reply this message you were settled in somewhere nice. I honestly don't know whether to put you in the field of naivety, stupidity or plain old dumbness

I thought we had to fill in an address on our landing card but it's been a while! Totally agree about arriving with nowhere to stay. Couldn't do it myself!!!!!

Yes, you do get asked for a contact address on the landing card. Not sure what happens if you leave it blank, I might try it next time :sneaky:

You're probably right. You travel more often than I do and I tend not to take much notice of stuff like that. :)

I just don't remember what we would have put on our landing card since we didn't have an address that I remember. Mind you, I'm nearly 50 now so have a hard time remembering what I had for breakfast this morning.

Its better to send her a PM as you are asking very specific information and it has nothing to do with this thread.

It's not a good idea to PM other members with immigration related discussions. Best to keep those in the open forum. Try starting a new thread if you have a different topic to the one in this thread, that way you can have the input of others and then this thread won't get side-tracked :)
