I stayed at Hillary's Harbour Resort in April 2001 - twice, for a week each time. (Took a a week to go via Monkey Mia to Exmouth to dive with whale sharks in between) and on both occasions got upgraded from one bedroom to two bedroom apartments for free.

Highly recommended! And very nice people - about 100 metres from the Western Australian Aquarium, which was the first place we visited, and next door to Sorrento Quay - nice shops!
