places to stay for the first few days in perth
hello!
well we've finally decided on a date for coming over to perth on our WHV.
we'll be looking for an apartment in the longterm but in the immediate few days after our arrival we'll need a reasonably priced hotel near the city. can anyone suggest one...?
another question is this: we arrive at midnight from singapore. does anyone know either a hotel which will allow us t check in this late, or a cheap city hotel which will do a pick up...
thanks guys

Hi Mrs Taylor!
Just thought I'd offer some help.
Visited Perth last year: stayed for a day in a Quest apartment south of the river but within a mile or two of the CBD in Arlington. Fine - nothing fancy but the tub was out of action and we had two water mad children with us so moved to the Broadwater apartments in Como - still fairly close but with the benfit of apartment living and a great indoor outdoor pool. Great view (over the freeway) to the river and a bit noisy but good staff.
Car hire was with Europcar which we booked through Oodles .com.au ??
Hope this helps
