I believe it is all the dirty rain water that goes into the ocean. Mostly because of dirt on the road, cleaning products they use outside, pesticides maybe? That's my opinion but i am no environment scientist!

Saw a report about this on the news Wed or Thurs night - could not believe it then - but looking at those pics - well it really makes it real doesn't it!!!

A local weather guy did actually say that he had experienced some BAD infections after playing in the stuff a few times and advised people to wash themselves thoroughly after being in contact with it

Hope the people in the pics didn't experience any probs!

We were only there a month ago - worshipping the beautiful coast line!!

The foam is all the excess proteins in the water. It's natural protein skimming. Had a marine fish tank with a protein skimmer to keep the wature in tip top condition so this is just natures way of the ocean having a big clear out!
