Physiotherapy

Hi,
Just looking peoples experiences with regards to reciving physio treatment in Australia. My girlfriend is currently has some physio treatment once a month. It's nothing serious or debilitating and she pay's for it privately here in the UK.

She is wondering about how to go about seeking a decent physio, and what do they cost compared to back here in the UK. She is currently paying £40 for 30-40 mins session.

Appreciate your advice and experiences.

Cheers

Dom

I had physio in Oz and they were brilliant, if ur in Melb PM me and I'll give u the guys name. Remember Oz is far more sports orientated then Europe so there are a load of Sports Injury clinics everywhere (in Melb at least)

I think it was $50 a session but I could be wrong.

Hi

I work in a Physio place in Perth, there they charge $70 for the initial (30 min) consult and $65 per session (15-20 mins) thereafter. The times aren't always stuck to though, they will spend as long with someone as they need, and don't always charge more than above.

Hope that helps

Shirley
