Physics teachers, any demand in Aus?
 
Hi, I was wondering if anyones knows whether there is any demand for physics teachers (for ages 12-18) in Aus. THanks

Maybe you could contact an Australian teaching association? Or there are two main science organisations: ANSTO (for nuclear science & technology) and CSIRO (for other science stuff, a bit like the National Physical Laboratory in the UK).

There is a demand for actual physicists though, extending to engineering & other tech subjects - so this may extend to teaching, particularly in the larger cities. Me & other half have come out to work out at ANSTO, all expenses paid! They have a good outreach programme to local schools & some of the secondary schools here are actually specialised for science subjects. Good luck!
