:confused: can anyone out there give me a telephone number for australia high commission that is not a recorded message. Just in case i need to phone them about. Just sweating over the fact that in a previous thread someone said they were only opening julys mail, and I sent all our passports in this week!!!!!!:scared:

Don't worry, when I sent mine back in April they had a big backlog of post and they still managed to find mine very quickly. I suspect they probably open the envelopes to take out any cheques and therefore when you have sent passports they find them straight away!!

Scare stories about AHC 'not opening the post' are wonderful for feeding the rumour
mill, but I think there is a difference between sorting mail into high and low
priority and not opening it at all.
