Phone call or Letter from Aus House.
Hi,
I see that a lot of people receive a phone call from Australia House informing them of approval for a visa. Does anyone know if this is always the case, or can it be just by mail or both?
Just curious, has anyone else noticed how time slows down the closer you get? I thought it was bad waiting over a year, but the past few weeks since the medicals have been terrible!!

Hi Chris,
can totally sympathise with your situation, I have now been picked up as STNI by the South Aus government, as well as being a nurse. I was told this would mean our app would be worked on as soon as the STNI approval was received by London (sent by SA gov last month). Phoned AHC on Wednesday but they can't even tell me if they have got the STNI approval!
This has been the worst part of the whole years wait for us!

Chris, The letter was the only thing we had from them after submitting the
application. The letter said "You've got the visa". Recommended site for timeline
