I recently picked up a Bill Bryson book 'Down Under' when I was staying at my OH parents last weekend...... anyway he recons he visited a shop in a place called Young on the way to Canberra and it sold Pet supplies and Pornography

Is this really true, has anyone here ever been, I'm looking for some proof or should I say roof, or poof... god knows. they should have called it 'Doggy Doggy''

This is a must see tourist attraction by all accounts.

The books worth a read too, really funny.
But like I said, any info on the Pet/porno shop would be great and any interesting names you guys can think of for a shop of such likes would be fun !

Same here! First time I read it I was on a train and couldn't help shaking with laughter. I am sure other people thought I was a nuts .

P.S. Forgot to say: I've now read it about six times and STILL laugh out loud at certain bits and then read them to my husband. One of my favourites is when he describes the radio cricket commentary. Brilliant!!!
