Pet Sitting in Sydney

Hello

Bit of a shot in the dark - but does anyone know of anyone who would like to pet sit in Sydney, Australia at Christmastime? Might be good for if the in-laws want to come and stay for Christmas :)

We have a golden retriever and a cat that need looking after, as well as a four bedded home with a pool over the Christmas period.

Cheers,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

We recently headed back to blighty and had pet sitters for a month. They were fantastic. I'm not too sure where they'll be at Christmas but more than happy to send you their contact details.

Cheers, Rob

We've used Aussie Housesitters twice, had mega people both times. We're very fussy about leaving our old goldie, but after lots of email chats and one face to face (each time) to see them with Murphy (the mutt), we knew they'd be great.

A lot of people you get through the site are 'grey nomads' - usually a retired couple going around Oz in a caravan. They welcome the change from the van to a house now and then, and if they're pet lovers, they love the chance to interact with your pets too. No money changes hands, it's one of those mutually beneficial things.

The first couple we had, as well as taking the best care of Murphy, also did the garden, left the house spotless and even got in fresh milk, bread and cooked us a meal for our first night back
