Pet Insurance

Has anyone had any problems insuring their dog/pets on arrival in Australia if that pet is over a certain age? In UK, if a dog is over 8 years old, insurance companies will not insure it. Do we get a 'no claims bonus' type of certificate proving that the dog has been insured for the past few years from the UK insurance company?

Re: Pet Insurance

I know my insurance company wont take on a dog past 9 years old for illness but will cover accidental for any age.

However, once they have got cover you may retain it for life regardless.
