Re: perth VS brisbane?
hello
well everything really!
we have 3 small children and want a nice beach close, nice weather, good schools and just to be out of the uk !
want to know the standard of living in both cities and which one we would be happiest in.
we cant decide between the 2

Re: perth VS brisbane?
I'm not an expert on either but I know there are no beaches in Brisbane.
Perth has a mediterranean climate - hot summers and mild wet winters. It also has lots of beaches.
Brisbane is subtropical with hot, humid summers and mild, clear winters.
Perth house prices are on average more expensive than Brisbane but I believe wages are higher too.
Perth people say it's a great place to bring up kids but others say it's too quiet ot Little Britain (Don't shoot the messenger perthites!!)
I'm sure the experts will be on to help soon but in the meantime you can use the search facility as there are plenty of threads on this topic
