Not been myself but I think the train is a better option. They open a special station especially for it.

Parking isnt that much of a problem but probably cost $10 or so. Most residents do it to make a few extra $$$$$ My other does it an can make $300 a day easy.

We always drive and park in a church car park nearby, for $10. It's worth it to not have to take public transport.

Dad and i usually park quite easily, but we get there quite early. Is it worth it? well that depends on what you enjoy. Dad and I like looking at the livestock, sheepdog trials and log chop (sorry... im a farm girl). This year will be OH's first experience and i expecthe will get bored of us and spend his hard earned cash on stupid rides etc.
