Is Perth really that dangerous?

Re: Is Perth really that dangerous?
Yes I guess but then by the same token most of the UK has a considerably higher burglary rate than NSW - and the point I was making was that Australia does not have the "worst burglary in the western world by miles" as whoever it was said - it has a comparable one with UK at worst.

Yes Perth is absolutely shit! Don't come here unless you want to be stabbed, burgled or even murdered!

Re: Is Perth really that dangerous?
I do enjoy laughing at you people on the forums, some of the rubbish that is said is unbelievable.
I use the train every day, sometimes late at night and sometimes very early in the morning. I have never had a problem here in Perth. I am often in the city center late at night and never had a problem.
Sure there are some dodgy people around but if you dont bother them they dont bother you, just like anywhere in the world.
I think people just like to talk crap on forums but it can give people a false impression on what life in perth is really like

Yep.....I found it exactly the same when I lived in the UK.
.....but you wouldn't believe it if you listened to all the rubbish spouted on here about the UK.
