Default perth property viewings

hi,
looking to rent furnished property for our oct 1st move and have seen one particular that we would like to book, however agent says we have to view first. Explained still in the uk but there appears to be no way round the problem. Has anyone had similar problem and is there a way round it?

G'day

Get someone in Perth to look on your behalf. Do you have any family or friends over here that are available to do it?

Where is the property? and what is the asking price? and what term are you renting for?

Cheers
Bob

Nice up there, I live in Connolly . Sounds a good price too. I would be happy to do as Bob says and go take a look and act on your behalf.

Wouldn't you want to see it before you commit to living there? Most people get a furnished short term place for about 3 weeks then use that as base to explore and look at long-term rentals.

They are looking at a furnished place....how do you know they're not just staying temporarily and it doesn't matter what it's like?

I also tried to rent our unfurnished place in Brisbane without looking at it, but didn't have any luck either. Our lease is only for 4 months so we really didn't care what it was like. We just needed a place fast so we could stop staying hotels as we had done for about a month.

.
Highly unlikely in the Perth market you'd get a rental in that area at that price furnished for anything less than a 6month commitment, probably 12.
