The Friends of the Marmion Marine Park and SCUBA2 are organising a touchpool session tomorrow (Saturday 8th) on the beach at the Marmion Angling an Aquatic Club, West Coast Highway, Marmion at 10am.

So if you or your kids are interested in learning about some of the marine creatures that inhabit our shores then come along.

All,

It was a great session. We had a wide variety of creatures in the pool from cuttlefish (a live one, not the bone), sea slugs, nudibranchs (colourful marine sea slugs), sea urchins, a shrimp and shellfish.

We only do it once a year but we'll certainly let everyone know next time we do it.

It was great to meet the Jones Family.

Couldnt get there in time I'm afraid, my wife had her first surfing lesson down in Scarboro, and it lasted from 8.30 til 12 so we simply couldnt get there in time. Please keep us informed about other stuff happening at MAA as we have two small children who would have loved it.
