Perth Coastal Property
I guess PB could help on this. In several of your threads you've talked about coastal land as being a good investment, what areas do you mean ?, & what are your predictions for growth ?. I am a firm believer in property as an investment (done quite well in the UK), any help would be appreciated.

Look at the population of Perth its spreading out along the coast people want sea views or sea breeze , I have seen coastal land go from $80k for 700sq to min $200k for 600sq in 5 years.
Do not build on the land if you can afford to sit on it , punters want to build their own dream and will pay for the right spot.

When you say coastal land do you mean with sea views or just 'near' the beach. How much would an actual ocean front block cost say within an hour of Perth?

If you buy land in WA and don't build on it you looses your $7,000 First home owners grant. You only get one bite at this cherry.

sorry to be slow, but i live near-ish to leighton and wonder what you mean, positives and negatives? looked at the site, not very accessible. i'd be grateful to learn more about the leighton development plan and implications.
