Gday all. I'm fairly new to Perth, looking to get out and socialise. Wife and I moved to oz in 04, did six years in Sydney, a year round the country in a landruiser and now settled in Perth. We're mid 30's, no kids.

Try as I might I haven't found any regular expat gatherings in Perth, so I thought I'd try and get something off the ground.

So anyone up for an after work beer in the city? Me and the mrs both work on the terrace, but don't really know our way around the pubs yet. Shout up if you're keen and we'll go from there, let's try to organise a time and place to suit everyone who's up for it.

I would be up for beers to meet people. I've been in Perth two weeks and would really appreciate group meet-ups, especially to get tips and advice from any expats who have been in Perth for a while.

I'm a single female in my mid-30s and really struggling to see this as a place I could settle in at the moment. The people at work says it gets better in the summer. I am keeping my finger's crossed that really is the case.
