Interesting but not from my experience. I guess everyone has their own gut feeling on where is sunniest. I've found the last twelve months in Perth to be less sunny than any of the three or four years I've lived in Brisbane. Maybe we're going through a dark spell.

There is no answer to the Perth v Brisbane (or any other city) question - it's all down to personal preference. Come over and see for yourself. And bear in mind that a visit is different to living here - for example I live in and love Brisbane, but I wouldn't live in the southern suburbs if you paid me. Same thing when I lived in Adelaide - civilisation ended north of Prospect and south of Coromandel Valley. A purely personal viewpoint.

I agree, personal preference is king. For example, I have lived in the northern and southern suburbs and they are exactly the same . The west is best!!!
