Perth: Australias' Most Expensive City

Today on 6pr radio news it was confirmed that Perth is now the most expensive city in Australia to live.

I agree with you. I think people see all these wonderful photos in tourist magazines, hear of how the state is doing well through the resources boom (fine if you're in that industry) and think, "yep, perth for me!"

They should move to South Australia or Tasmania then. Houses are much cheaper there and according to people on this site, there are loads of jobs there too.
