Hi, well we've finally booked the flights for our validation visit and are starting to get really exited at the prospect of coming over. Can anyone recommend a decent (reasonably priced!) hotel very close to Perth airport. The flight gets in at 00:55 so we want somewhere to just put down our bags and crash for the first night really, before we move into our holiday let for a cpl of weeks. I know there's obviously a hotel at the airport but guessing that it will be expensive?

There are a heap of cheap motels along Great Eastern Highway in Belmont, Rivervale suburbs. Most will have free airports shuttles. I think we stayed at Country Comfort or something a couple of years ago when we were there. Do a google search on Great Eastern Highway Motels and a swag load should come up. Good luck.

We stayed here overnight, was fine and cheap and they provided a free transfer from the airport to the hotel at 1am. http://www.beleyremotel.com.au/

Easy access to city by bus.

Bizarre isn't it? We're returning from a 5 week trip home and just need somewhere to sleep for 6 to 8 hours before driving up the coast... can't find anywhere to just bed down for 6am to 2pm...
