Can anybody recommend some good suburbs of Perth to live in...I'll probably be working at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children or a Hospital with a Paediatric Dept.

Looking for a suburb within about a half hour to 45 minute drive to a hospital and not too expensive...

If you are renting try Subi or all areas around there its got life plus you can walk to most places also close to the Hospital , its a very good area easy to rent but pricy to buy.

North Shore is lovely. I have cousins that have lived in Kinross and Wembley, they enjoyed living there.

Next best would be Leederville or West Perth , give the Northern Suburbs the push I take it you are young and want a life not to be had in the suburbs.
You will be able to rent a unit with a shared pool maybe even fitness room etc for less than some faceless dull estate.
