Hiya all,
Time is getting nearer to our departure date from Glasgow.
Wondering if I'm doing the right thing!
Does/did anyone else feel like this?
I know I will definately not be home sick but I know for sure that I'll be people sick.
I hate my own company and need to be surrounded by folk I know/like.
Does anyone know of any swingers clubs?? - kiddin' :scared:

32 days til I leave and already I am feeling sick.. not sure what of.. people fussing, leaving work ( I LOVE MY JOB where else can you put your feet up and have a kip and that is infront of the boss ), my mothers already impending arrival in Aus (2nd Feb and NOT counting).. but then I have a new country, new life, new hubby, imminent new job (when found) and meeting up with all my old and new mates!

Sod it I aint sick at all!

yvonne no im sorry i have to stop you there we agreed on leaving dates, but it would appear that you have now sneaked in an arriving date as well, this is totaly against all pre migrating ozzy hopfulls well being and as such i would like to issue a clear warning of your breach in conduct. on this forum, and feel although a custody sentance would appear appropriate on this occasion we shall leave it with a caution this time, and hope you can find it within yourself to realisethe errors of your ways.

Hi Shona,

We fly out on the 5th October. I am getting more and more terrified about leaving my family and friends. I live surrounded by the whole of my family and its going to kill me to say goodbye. Plus they are all poor travellers so can't see them coming in the near future!
I really envy the people who have loved ones there waiting for them.
But then I suppose there are plenty of people who envy the visa we have in our passport.... I suppose you can't have it all ways

Shona, I think most people (mainly us women folk!) will be people sick. But then we all need to stick together. As long as you and me are no more than 3 miles apart in Aus. I think I will cope fine. I don'/t think thaaaaats too unreasonable, do you??? Another thing I will insist on if we're lucky enough to get there is a web cam I only have 1 sister and 1 adorable niece, so that is a necessatity, you know what I mean. I need to go and have another lemon barley wter!!
