Pensions and other boring financial stuff

Hi all,

Has anyone any good or bad experiences of using a financial advisor to get advice on taxation and pension transfers from UK to Oz?

I've had a quote from one company who do a one day seminar for £395 but I think my financial affairs are not that complicated so don't think it'll be worth this amount.

Can anyone make any recommendations on who (or not!) to use?

Any comments or advice would be as always warmly received.

Cheers,

MAX

Max,

I know that Alan Collett provides such a service, which I will be using in the near future. Most likely you will see Alan's name on this website fairly often - he is one of the professionals who offer basic migration/tax advice on this site for free (although not all his advice is free - he has to make a living somehow!). His website can be found at http://www.collettandco.com.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Paul.
