just packing final few things for air freight,
would our pdr / freeview tv recorder work or should we store it???

I gave my 4 freeview boxes to family.
http://freeview.com.au/ a lot less channels here as well but the weather is nicer.

Hang on - don't bin it! sure the freebies receiver will not work, but it is easily connectedto an aerial input - terrestrial or satellite so can be used for recording easily. If it had a DVD burner then that's great too!

Cheers for your responses, will definitely be taking the pdr as its got hours of kids tv along with other fav tv episodes......
So I presume I can use the uk pdr for oz freeview ??

nope digital radio is different here too its called DAB+ i think, different wave lengths! http://www.digitalradioplus.com.au i find oz radio nearly as bad as oz tv! we have an internet radio which we hook up to our wifi and can pick up all those stations i miss from blighty, you might want to bring one of those with you as cheaper in uk than oz to buy, i got mine off ebay.
