Hi,

When applying for the Oz Police Checks does anyone know how to obtain a cheque payable in $AUD - do UK banks do this or do you need to get it from an Australian Bank??

Not to sure what you mean, why do you need oz police checks. You can get $ cheques from a bank of course there is a charge for this

I ordered a foreign draft from the Natwest on Friday, they said it would take a few days. There was a charge for this though (surprise, surprise).

I think every bank can sort out a cheque in aussie dollar but its a pain in the a**, just ask them.....I was lucky enough to have the girl in australia to sort it out.....good luck anyway
