Hi,
I have just received a call from Members Alliance claiming that through tax benefits, they can show me how to dramatically reduced the length of time I can pay off my mortgage!
Obviously they wouldn't say too much on the phone and guess what, they just so happened to have someone in the area that could help me!
I never heard of this happening in the UK but does anyone know much about this sort of thing

One of the rare occasions I agree with the above poster. Best to avoid it. Everything comes at a price in OZ, even the most basic tasks that can be easily done oneself.

Take special care on all things real estate. Thankfully prices are moving downwards in WA , especially the regions. Check out well your local QLD situation.

Yes agree with the above comments be very wary about any offerings and certainty seek independent finance and financial advice on anything proposed. There are simple ways of reducing your mortgage such as additional repayments, fortnightly repayments, offset accounts etc and reviewing you home loan on a regular basis to ensure you are getting the best deal in the market. :-)
