Paying tax to HMRC online from Australia
Just checking if you can access this URL from Australia as I will need to do so in July and again January 2014 to pay my outstanding tax under self assessment? Thanks

not keen on clicking on links, but all websites (barring ones like Iplayer) can generally be accessed from anywhere.
I use my online UK bank account to pay all sorts of people in UK including HMRC.

Plus you can use a VPN service if need be to temporarily access sites from whichever country you choose, including the UK.

Isn't the charge only if you pay by credit card? I've used it for a while now using debit card without extra charge
