Default Paying for Short Term Rent

We have got our short term rental sorted

We hare to put the deposit and full rent into an Ozzie account. Is it best to just use our UK bank. Or use an exchange company like the ones that advertise on this site.

In a nutshell what is the best way. We are not looking at more than $4k

Use an exchange company: on as much as $4k it can make a fair difference. I believe I'm right in saying that HiFX have a good reputation - and indeed I use them myself - but by all means shop around.
