I was also a contractor for a period of 3 years with a Ltd Company. The followin was supplied with my TRA.

own Statement of Career History. (Not a Cv..) STAT DEC

own Statement of Trade Traning undertaken. STAT DEC

Certified Copies of 5 Statements of Services from previous clients. Letter head etc..

own Statment of Services from current employer STAT DEC.

Proof of current employment. p60/pay slips.

Cirtified Copies of all trade certificates.

If one of your clients have stopped trading.. just provide a last address and miss them off the list of statements if you have enough already.

As you can see , I Havent included anything to do with my Ltd Company.. why should they care ? just as long as you can prove your skills are matching their critiria for the period of self employed.jobs a good en.

Hope this helps.

I'm ok about including my ltd company, i've got accounts, and copies of contract schedules of clients i've worked for. Can probably get references from a couple aswell. Its my first 4yrs in IT that is the problem, the company doesn't exist anymore, I've no pay slips, I threw the stuff out years ago. I need these 3.5yrs to count towards my "years experience" points, i get an extra 2 to take me to the pass mark. So how the hell do I get around this? I managed to tract down a former director and he doesn't mind signing a personal letter, however he doesn' t work at the moment so letterhead paper is no good and anyway I don't want to impose on him anymore, he's offer to sign a letter is kind enough. How tough are the Qualifications people and NZIS on this?:scared: :scared:

The NZIS told us P60 info. letter from 1 of the former partners of the company plus a declaration was enough. If you wish to go down this avenue it's upto you.
Good Luck for the future.
