Hello

Our passports arrived safely back from Aus House on Thursday with the lovely visa stuck inside....

Just need to sell the house now...

Check em everyday, make sure they are still there and the visas are still intact.

Check the number on the visa is the same as on the bottom of your passport - if its not you're stuffed and will need to get it changed pronto !

Only kidding - you will notice that they miss the odd letter/no off and they do not agree exactly - as long as your passport no is correct. Just that this point comes up from time to time as gets people in a bit of a tiss.

How long did it take from when sent back your meds / police checks?
We jumped the gun a bit and sold our house last month in 2 days!

It seemed like forever, it took 6½ weeks, passports were sent on Monday and returned on Thursday, that was the quickest part in the whole process.

Visa application to passports end to end took 47 weeks!!!

Good Luck, you just have to forget about it and get on with your life while you're waiting.

Thanks for the info - we are hoping they come by June 1st - if they don't we'll just go anyway on a sponsor visa as my wifes a nurse and has been offered a job already.
