Read the above and you will find the passport has to go to Canberra. You cannot walk into the Sydney consulate and renew your passport.

BondiPom is exactly right - it has to be sent to Canberra (and they're quick at turning it around).

Unless they've recently changed it, if you go to this address in Sydney, they only provide the application forms.

I didnt mean just to turn up and say giz a new passport....I only posted the contact details so that, they could be contacted to see what the process was
