Partner of main app wanting work

Hi all,
we have now been here in Brisbane for 15 weeks and while my wife as the main visa applicant got a start in 2 weeks as a hairdresser I have struggled to get work, even with 15 years experience in a managerial job. Now I am working as a recruiting consultant, I had to take a job working in a call center to get me some oz work experience, I also know speaking to a few others who had similar probs when they first came over. So now I am in a position to help others, if you are in Brisbane or coming to Brisbane on a visa and want a contact to help you get started in work here give me a shout and I maybe can help.

Hey Clan Fortune, Cameron Clan here! Got our visa's a few weeks ago, house now on market and hoping to be in Brissy August time. OH is a sparky and he will look for work once there and once kids settled I'd like to work - I have experience of being a School Secretary so would love to still do that.

Are you all happy in Brisbane?

Hi,
Great idea, worth some karma. You don't ever have any pharmacist jobs come up do you?

Ben

Sorry not any in that field but lots of others, when you first come over its hard to get started often for the partners of the main app so I thought I could help some others like us when they arrive
