Part-time work experience
 

Hello, I need help!

I have just graduated (B.Sc. IT) and I will send my application to ACS very soon.

My problem is, that I don't have full-time work experience, because I was a student. I am working in IT for four years as part-time employee (more than 4 hours a day). I am also MCP (SQL Server).

Do you think my work experience qualify?

DIMIA defines work experience to be at least 20 hours a week. If you can prove that you are in paid employment for at least 20 hours a week, you might stand a chance.

Hi,

I wonder whether DIMA accepts work experience gathered prior to earning the
educational qualification.

I am in the same boat as Miha, I have earned one year full-time work experience in IT
before graduation. If DIMA counts that, then I can show that I have 3 years of
experience and collect another 10 points.

Is there someone who can clear my doubts ?
