Hi,
I was wondeirng if anybody had had parents who have managed to make it over here via the contributory parent route?
I have been a permanent resident for over 2 years and my other sibling lives in the UK still. My folks want to head out here when they retire to be with my wife and I.
I was wondering if anyone knew what the medical requirements are other than not having TB, HIV etc?
DIMIA web site says that they look at things that essentially might be a starin on the public system regardless of whether people take out private medical insurance. Does anyone know what this may cover?
Also, what is the time frame if they go this route and pay? They will have funds from the sale of my Nan's property after she passed away last year.
Any other suggestion especially helpful tpis woudl be appreciated.
Cheers
