Paramedic wanting a life down under
#1

Hello
I am currently 30 years old and I have visited Australia twice on holiday seeing Sydney, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Hobart.
I fell in love with the country but I’m under no illusion that working there will be similar to being on holiday. I know that London ambulance service often bring in Australian paramedics due to our similar skill set.
I’m wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or better so been sponsored by one of the Australian ambulance services? I currently hold a C1 entitlement full UK driving license to drive ambulances on blue lights (up to 7 tonne) would this be recognised in Australia?
I’m a complete beginner to the migration process so any information or help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Doubt you are going to get sponsorship - getting a paramedic job is hard enough for local graduates - which is why UK recruits from new young Australian graduates each year - my niece was contemplating going to UK but eventually picked up a position in Tasmania after quite a long wait.
