Are you looking for a quick tandem flight (just rock up and let the instructor do the work while you enjoy the view) or at getting your solo pilot certification (a 9 day course) ?

Here's a sample of the view from the air in a 5 minute clip I took on a recent flight...

I am in Melbourne and fly mainly around VIC but have plenty of friends in the sport around the country and know all of the main instructors in each state so if you are considering any particular school/instructor to fly with or complete your training course I can give you the word on them ;-)

Here is the list :

Have fun

Presumably it depends slightly on whereabouts you are in NSW unless you intend driving for 10 plus hours just to get there

Try Stanwell Park south of Sydney. The paragliders jump off at a spot called Bald Hill and land in the park/beach below.

Cant think of any companies off the top of my head, so just google Stanwell Park.

Have fun, looks great.

Places to make a PG Tandem Flight, as you travel from QLD down the NSW Coast,

http://www.poliglide.com/ with Andy Polidano
Byron Bay (just across the QLD border)

http://www.highadventure.com.au/ with Lee Scott
Laurieton, about 20 mins south of Port Macquarie

http://www.sydneyparagliding.com/ with Mark Mitsos
They fly at Stanwell Park, about an hour south of Sydney.

Any of the above operations I would recommend. All very experienced guys.

Have fun and after you get your knees in the breeze you will understand why the birds sing
