panicking about front loading..............
Hi.
We posted our visa 2 months ago now and not been acknowledged or anything yet. We decided to front load the medicals and police checks. Going for medicals on 17th october in Edinburgh. Received confirmation letter today from med. centre with things to bring. One was a letter/e-mail from Dimia saying where the Meds should be sent on to. Panicking now, on a 136 modl visa. Always reading about peeps front loading, so what's the best thing to do. All input welcome. Thanx :( |

Re: panicking about front loading..............
same boat as both of you - DIMA received our 15th Aug and no acknowledgment and c/c not swiped either. On the acknowledgement that comes through from them does it have a reference number that you use throughout the visa process?

Re: panicking about front loading..............
We front loaded, and didn't put the address on where it was meant to be sent (we asked the doctor to send it to the normal place he sends all medicals). Our doctor charged us loads for postage then ended up sending to London so it got lost in the system for about a month. So just make sure you check the address is right!

Thanx :( Our agent advised us to front load as soon as we received acknowledgement of visa application with the reference number on it. This was mainly because OH is diabetic so knew would need specialist reports. The address details etc for the clinic to send on the documents and xrays are printed on the medical forms with instructions etc. I would print them off so you can see the type of medical history information they will require (very indepth). Just finished printing them off myself, we've got our med's tomorrow. Wish I'd started earlier - there's 5 of us going and each one is 9 pages long. Late night for me then. (I wonder if you can be turned down for generally looking like s**t?) :scared: Not tried attaching anything before so I hope it works. Cheers! |

Re: panicking about front loading..............
Hi Everyone,
reading this thread with interest. We are waiting for TRA response and have a visa application ready to be sent once we have a positive result (hopefully). With all the delay in acknowledging the application, is there a knock on affect in getting a case officer. Friends of our submitted their app in April (136 MODL), acknowledged within a fortnight, got case officer 4 weeks ago and visa approved with 6 days. They had medicals in August and PC's done at the same time, so it has all worked out great for them. We were told that 136 MODL are usually assessed and a decision made between 6 - 9 months. Any advice would be really appreciated Thanks Carol  |
